Group Rules Reminder of our rules • Rules for study group: • Start and stop on time • Food ? • Respect ideas from everyone • Keep hands and feet to self • Need to be purpose driven • There will be roles for group members to perform
Roles for Boys and Reading Study Group • Parking Lot Attendant-If the group has a new idea this individual writes it down and brings the topic back to the group at a later time (Stay on Topic) • Time Keeper-Makes Sure the group starts and stops on time • Recorder/Secretary-Records important information from each meeting • Clarifier-Asks that new ideas be clarified if group members are unsure of concept • Summarizer-At the end of the session this individual reviews the session (use Study Group Log)
Goals Goal of Group: • To get boys interested / motivated in reading. • What are we going to do with what we find out? • Create an information sheet with strategies to share with the staff.
