remarks prsp1
Remarks / PRSP1
  • Weakness in recognising role of energy services in the PRSP/MDGs
  • Energy services in the PSRP limited to the energy sector so, lack of synergy between energy and other strategic sectors
consequences
CONSEQUENCES
  • Without energy services, key elements for achieving the PRSP objectives will be constrained, such as:
    • Mitigation of income generation opportunities
    • Lack of quality for basic social services such as Health, education, water

toward a multisectoral approach
TOWARD A MULTISECTORAL APPROACH
