  3. Problem Solving Process • 1. The Problem • Define the problem in your own words? • 2. Result • Describe what the result will be • 3. Investigate • Find out about: appearance, materials to be used, restrictions on design, materials and time. • 4. Brainstorm • Each group member sketches different ideas

  4. 5. Final Solution • Select the best solution keeping in mind the requirements. Explain and justify the final solution • 6. Model and Prototype • Build a model or a prototype • 7. Testing and Evaluation • Does it work? Does it meet the specifications? • What improvements could be made?
