Storgē is a natural affection or naturalobligation Στοργή(Storgē) Εροσ(Eros) This love is eroticlove Eros is a love ofpassion, iv.The basic idea of this love isself-satisfaction. . Φιλἐω(Phileō) i. Phileō is a a receiving love; it is based on what we get and how good something or someone makes us feel. ii.This love speaks of affection, fondness, orliking. iv. Phileō is a love that responds to kindness, appreciation, or love. It involves giving as well as receiving; ἀγάπη,(Agape) is called out of one’s heart by the preciousness of the objectloved. Agape is not kindled by the merit or worth of it’s object, but it originates in it’s own God-givennature. It delights ingiving. This love keeps on loving even when the loved one is unresponsive, unkind, unlovable, and unworthy. It is unconditionallove. Agape desires only the good of the one loved. It is aconsuming passion for the well-being ofothers.
