  2. Where can I schedule Time • In the Media Center… You can schedule all of your needs at the desk in the Media Center. • Media Center – print & online • Labs 403, 405, 415 • COWs – blue & green • iPad Cart • A Timely Tip: • All schedules are emailed on Friday. They are also posted online.

  3. How much time can I schedule? • We’ll help get you what you need… You can reserved a total of 3 hours & 45 minutes a week…in any form…to include labs, COWs, and iPads. • A Timely Tip: • If you don’t see what you need, ask us. We can usually help find you space.

  4. What do I do with a COW? (and do I really want one???) • Here’s the scoop on COWs… • Students must have Laptop Usage Agreements on file before they can use a computer. • If the laptop isn’t working please place it on the top of the cart with a note attached when the cart is returned. • Floating laptops & chargers should be on top of the cart. • All computers should be plugged fully into the cart when it’s returned to the Media Center. • A Timely Tip: • Who ever returns the COW is responsible for it.

  5. How many COWS do we have? • Still scooping… We have 2 carts with 30 laptops on them. We also have about 10 floating laptops for individual checkout. • A Timely Tip: • Substitutes are not allowed to checkout COWs for use during the day.

  6. Do we really have iPads? • Yes we do! • Students must have iPad Usage Agreements on file before they can use an iPad. • If the iPad isn’t working please let us know right away. • Do NOT plug in iPads. Their charge should last all day. • Students are not to move carts. We will coordinate getting the iPads where you need them. • A Timely Tip: • Substitutes are not allowed to checkout the iPads for use during the day.

  7. What apps are on the iPads? • We have TONS of apps for you to use. Apps are divided into different folders, based on the way the app can be used and the content that it’s intended for. • A Timely Tip: • If you want something added to the iPads, just let me know.

  12. What’s happening with SSR? • Sustained Silent Reading Continues! Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) will continue to be at the end of 2nd block every day but CHAMP days. As a quick reminder: • SSR includes everyone • The computers & circulation desk close at 11:10 AM. • A book = 100 pages • Star Readers are out there • A Timely Tip: Students will not be allowed to check out materials during Silent Reading; they will be sent back to the classroom empty-handed.
