  1. Plot Diagram Presentation “Green Eggs and Ham” McCarthy 2012

  2. Basic Situation • Sam I Am is a guy who likes green eggs and ham. He seems like he is happy and positive. • The other guy seems mean and he likes to read his newspaper. He seems bothered by distractions and just negative in general.

  3. Event 1 • Sam I Am asks the other guy if he’ll try green eggs and ham

  4. Conflict • Sam I Am wants the other guy to try green eggs and ham • Other guy doesn’t want to try them. He refuses because he doesn’t like them.

  5. Event • Sam asks him if he will try it with a bunch of different characters

  6. Event • The other guy refuses to try it with them NO!!!!

  7. Event • Sam asks him to try it in a bunch of different places • The other guy still refuses

  8. Complication • Sam I Am seems like he is on the verge of quitting.

  9. Event • Sam ask one more time. He says that he should try them because he may like them. • The other guy agrees-- on the condition that if he tries them, Sam will leave him alone.

  10. CLIMAX!!! • The other guy tries the green eggs and ham • All of the other characters watch in anxious anticipation IS HE GOING TO LIKE THEM!!!!??????

  11. Resolution • The other guy does like them. • He thanks Sam I Am for making him try them, says he will eat them all the time. • Sam was right YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!
