  2. Pathos • Evokes a feeling of anger seeing the seal kill the baby because the baby didn’t deserve to die. The human baby is helpless and couldn’t defend itself. • Makes you feel sad about the baby that got killed. • Just as human babies have feelings and relationships to their parents, baby animals have feelings and attachments to their families. • Just because a baby seal is not a human if doesn’t mean it shouldn't have it’s own rights Ethos • It isn’t ethical to kill someone else’s baby. You wouldn’t want your own baby to get killed. • It’s not right for us to not do anything about baby seals being killed • We should take action against the ones who are doing this to baby seals

  3. Ethos • It’s not right to text and drive • It isn’t ethical to put other people’s lives in danger just because the driver wants to send a message or be entertained. The reason that this ad exists, is because of the exigence of people not following the law saying that you can’t text and drive. Pathos • You feel panic and a bit of anger because the driver is about to run over the little kid. • Makes us think about people that have actually gotten run over due to the fact that the driver wasn’t paying attention to the road • It makes you think about about the sad effects that might happen. Not only to the victim, but to the victim’s family. The mentally or physical effects that can ruin their lives.

  4. Pathos • Makes you feel guilty towards the effect on Earth's future due to humans. • Reminds you of the panic that some people get when their ice-cream is melting. Ethos • Makes you want to change the future . • Seeing the Earth makes you wonder why the Earth is going through this.

Ethos • The ad shows that smoking has a physically effect on a child, and that effect is a terrible one • You wouldn’tplace a bag over a child’shead , sowhywouldyousuffocate a childwith smoking. • On the bottomitsaysthat not only smoking suicide, but itsalsomurder. Whywouldyoukill a person by smoking? Especially a little kid? It isn’tethical to killsomeone. Pathos • Makes you feel pity and guilt (smokers) for the little kid that is crying. • You could see the pain he is going through. • The black background color makes it feel serious • The lighting is aimed right on the face and his pained expression is what we concentrate on
