Think About It… • Within your ISD do you have some subrecipients who offer excellent programs? What evidence to have to back up your conclusion? • Do you have any you have concerns with? Are you concerned about specific things? What is needed to support them? How do you know if they make progress? • If you knew your subrecipients were meeting program requirements, how would you choose to spend your GSRP time?
Process • Consultants set monitoring cycle • Risk analysis done annually • All ISDs to be monitored in a given year are notified by emailed letter • Call to ECC to set dates at least 45 days in advance • Confirmation sent with the lists of primary and secondary documents • 30 days to submit primary documents • Consultant desk review • Onsite visit (1-3 days) • ECC interviews • ECS team interview • Classroom visit(s) • Review of secondary records as needed.
Consultant: Reviews all documentation using the protocol Prepares report/compliance plan Submits to supervisor for review and approval Sends letter and report to ISD superintendent and ECC Works with ECC to follow any compliance plan to completion
