  4. How was king tut discovered? • A archaeologist from Britain named Howard Carter discovered King Tut’s Tomb in 1922 • Carter discovered the entrance to King Tut’s tomb when he looked under the debris from another dig in Egypt

  6. What was some of the things mummies had buried with them? • Amulets were usually buried around the mummy • Shawabits were small mummy statues that were placed in the tomb for the deceased
