  2. Lou gehrig’sdiease • Lou gehrigdiease is a diease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.

  4. Notes: • How does it affect your body ? • It damages your motor nuerons the brain and spinal cord . • This cause your motor nuerons in the brain to shrink and disspear. • The nervous system is most affected by lougeghrigsdiease .the musclucar system is also affected by lougeghrigdiease .

  5. Treatment /cost • There is no treatment for asl but the medicine used is called riluzole it slows the diease progression and prolongs life. • The therapy cost about 1700$ a week .
