Woodland Indians • 1000 BC to 1000 • They contributed bows and arrows • They started to build villegas • They were the first to grow crops • They started to have memorials for the dead • They started to believe in religion
Mississippian Indians • 700 to 1600 • They were located on the Mississippi river • They were very religious • They were famous for tattooing themselves • In the 1600s they mysteriously disappeared • It may be due to diseases, enemies and migration
