WCU SACS Accreditation Review Kick-Off: Engaging the Community for Success
On October 3, 2006, Western Carolina University launched its SACS accreditation review with a vibrant kickoff event. This gathering aimed to heighten awareness and excitement about the reaffirmation process, share timelines, and highlight the institution's strengths and challenges. With a history of accreditation since 1946 and the upcoming on-site review scheduled for April 2007, the event was attended by distinguished guests and university leaders. The Quality Enhancement Plan will guide faculty and staff in enhancing student learning outcomes, ensuring a sustainable and focused approach for future growth.
