Procedure Send your request to osl@utah.edu Include: Software title and company contact if you have it Very brief description of what the software does What software will be used for (lab, teaching, etc) How many copies of software you need When you need the software Who else is interested in purchasing/using it Your contact information

    4. Decision Process Contact vendor - negotiate pricing and terms Evaluate purchase economics Evaluate strength of financial commitments Review license or contract terms Review other considerations (vendor, key management, distribution mechanism, etc) Reply to requestor Process takes 1 - 2 weeks
