  5. Volunteering Requirements SWIM – Success With Involved Members Why Volunteering? How many points? How to earn points?

  6. Why Volunteering? Your child’s swim team is managed and run by PARENTS Hosting the meets reduces every swimmer’s training fees by an average of $1000 per year. This is why everyone is responsible to volunteer! (This is why even if your swimmer is not competing we need your help at some meets!) Hosting home meets also reduces your costs in hotels, gas, and food from away meets. Home pool advantage during meets On Deck is cooler than in Stands! Parents that show a passionate, positive and active interest in their child's youth sports, the child is more likely to put more into that activity than if the parent was not involved!

  7. 200 Points Minimum Most jobs are 10 points per session Officials - 15pts (All Certifications for being a USA certified Official are paid by the TEAM) Highest points earned last year 790 points Palmetto Meet – double points, must earn a minimum of 60 points at Palmetto meet regardless of points earned during year
