  7. Poor hygiene practice can lead to: • Complaints • Making people ill (food poisoning) • Loss of business and possible closure • Fines • Civil and legal action

  8. Good hygiene practice can ensure: • Satisfied customers • Good reputation • Good working conditions • Less wastage • Legal compliance • Increased productivity

Uniform Best Practices and Standards - Hair • All hair touching the shoulder needs to be tied back • If your hair is shorter than shoulder length, it should not fall into your face when you are looking down. If that is happening you must use clips or a band to keep your hair away from your face • Any hair bands and clips used, must be matching your hair color • Only plain hair accessories are allowed (no colors, pictures, flowers, stones, etc.) • If using a hair band, it should not be thicker than 1cm.

Uniform Best Practices and Standards - Earrings and Jewellery • You are allowed only one stud (earring) per ear, no bigger than 25 fills • No earrings allowed for male staff • No necklaces allowed. If you wish to wear a plain religious jewelry it should not be visible. • You are only allowed to wear a plain watch - no other armbands or bracelets • You are only allowed to wear your wedding ring • No body piercing allowed (no nose rings/studs, no tongue rings included) • Women are allowed one small piece of elegant jewelry. That can be either a cuff, bracelet, ring, necklace or a broche.

  11. Uniform Best Practices and Standards - Uniform shirts and trousers • Only black or dark blue suits can be worn • Female staff can wear skirts or trousers

  12. Uniform Best Practices and Standards - Belts • Belts must be black with plain buckle – for staff • Belts can be used as an accessory, when comes to managers, as long as they fit the concept and color scheme of the outlet

Uniform Best Practices and Standards –Shoes and Socks • Only black polishable shoes are allowed • No trainers, no matter how smart they look • Women should wear heels, minimum kitten heels • No bold accessories are allowed • Only plain black socks are allowed • All socks must be above the ankle

  14. Uniform Best Practices and Standards –Tattoos, Shaving and Make Up • Tattoos can’t be visible • You have to be clean shaven every day • If you have a beard, it must be well groomed • All female staff must wear make up
