ACEnet: Transforming Research in Atlantic Canada

ACEnet is a High Performance Computing Consortium supporting world-class research in Atlantic Canada. With a vision of connected researchers and essential HPC resources, ACEnet facilitates collaboration, innovation, and growth in the region. By hosting member universities, clusters, and SMPs, ACEnet partners with industries for sustainability. ACEnet supports Newfoundland's Innovation Strategy, providing resources for external research and commercialization. It offers tools for visualization, computation fluid dynamics, and computational chemistry. ACEnet collaborates with other Canadian consortia like Sharcnet, HPCVL, CLUMEQ, RQCHP, and Westgrid. With a focus on various disciplines including Earth resources, chemistry, engineering, marine sciences, bio-technology, and computer science, ACEnet supports diverse projects from real-time cabled ocean observatories to drug design, disease research, and defense-related projects. ACEnet is a transformative force in Atlantic Canada's research landscape.
