  3. 802.16m Closing Report • Results for the week: • Resolve comments on SRD and EMD • Completed – SRD and EMD updates approved for issuance • Resolve Comments on SDD (primary focus) • Completed – all comments reviewed, resolved and new database and SDD approved • Review all Rapporteur Group Outputs, resolve reply comments, if any, and draft SDD text for adoption • Completed – All Rapp groups, both old and new, met, reviewed comments, and created harmonized SDD text, where possible, which was then reviewed by TGm – final results are documented in the SDD comment database • Attempt to complete all SDD PHY text • Close but not quite there yet – UL PHY still needs significant work, most other PHY areas reasonably stable • Review new material from SDD Call for Contributions and appoint Rapporteurs to select material for presentation at this session and initiate activities for inputs to session #58 • Completed – New Rapporteur Groups (LBS, e-MBS, MC, Security, Multi- Radio) were appointed at TGm opening, met during the week, reviewed contributions and, in some cases, created harmonized SDD text which was ultimately reviewed and voted on by TGm. Final results are incorporated in the SDD comment database. Several groups felt they had completed their work and that further between meeting efforts would be unnecessary (Link, HARQ, Multi-Radio) IEEE 802.16m-08/038

  4. 802.16m Closing Report • Results for the week (cont): • Call for Contributions on SDD (MAC and remaining subjects) • Completed – new CFC to be issued (Comments, SON, Femtocell) • Rapporteur Groups and Chairs for between meeting work authorized (UMAC, UL PHY control, Security, LBS, e-MBS, Multi Carrier) • Initiate actions for creation of TGm amendment text (CfC) • Completed – Draft CFC for amendment text on specific PHY topics reviewed • Amendment “Style Guide” created and reviewed - will be referenced in CFC • Reviewed proposed ITU IMT-Advanced Development Workshop presentation and detailed proposal submission plan • Prepared and reviewed femtocell reply liaison to WiMAX Forum • Logistics: • Ran three simultaneous sessions • Heian North & South • Matsukaze-II IEEE 802.16m-08/038
