Features of ESCADA – RTU
  • Dual Redundant CPU boards based on 32 bits 68020 microprocessor
  • Separate CPU for ESR for scanning @2 ms.
  • Analog I/P – 576, Digital I/P – 4096, Digital O/P – 496
  • Main CPU scans Analog I/Ps @ 1s & Digital I/P @ 10ms
  • Communication with Servers on Dual Redundant LAN I/O LAN.
  • Time synchronization.
  • Self Diagnostics.
  • RTU identification.
  • Relay Actuation.
slide7
Features of ESCADA – Servers
  • Dual Redundant Servers
  • Server- Dual Xeon 3.6 G Hz based Computer
  • Dual Hard Disk (RAID)
  • Acquires data from all RTU over dual redundant I/O LAN
  • Processes data and stores it for archival
  • Communicates with Display station Over Dual Redundant

Display LAN

  • Alarm generation and transmission
  • Validation of device operation commands
  • Provides password protected supervisory control
  • Also works as Display Station
slide8
Features of ESCADA - Display Stations
  • P 4 based Computers for Operator Interface
  • Communicated over Dual Redundant Display LAN with Servers
  • Provides various functionality

Mimic display and equipment operation.

Display of online data in various formats.

Display of history data and analysis.

Display of Alarms and other messages.

Diagnostic display.

System configuration using mimic editor, database editor, report generator and other display

Transfer of data to CD, DVD and Pen-Drive
