  2. About the Professional Division • Anyone can join except for students with an active FBLA or PBL chapter in their school. • Membership year from August 1- July 31.

  3. Becoming A Member • To become a member, contact the National Center at (800) 325-2946 Or you can visit the national FBLA-PBL website at www.fbla-pbl.org to download an application form.

  4. Membership • Two types of memberships are offered: • One year membership for $23 • Lifetime membership for $350 • With a lifetime membership, the registration fee for the FBLA-PBL National Conference is waived. • Benefits: • A 20% discount at Franklin Covey stores • One free certification test at Brainbench.com • Hotel and car rental discounts at Alamo Rent a Car, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Ramada, Travelodge, Wingate Inn, Villager, and Amerihost • Copies of the Professional Edge, a newsletter written specifically for professional members • Copies of publications (i.e., Tomorrow's Business Leader; PBL Business Leader) • A membership card

  5. Serve as a liaison between business and classroom. Enhance a chapter and its activities. Share real-life experiences at meetings and workshops. Provide professional development training through workshops. Offer scholarships and other financial support. Arrange tours of local businesses. Guide members as they prepare for competitive events. Judge at local, state, and national competitions. Help chapters with fundraising. Create internships and job shadowing. Involvements with FBLA
