Data Element Changes • Student Grades • Courses completed by prekindergarten students are now included • School number is now the school at which the course was delivered • NDE Staff ID is no longer social security number but instead a ten-digit ID assigned by the Nebraska Department of Education

Code Set Changes • Programs Fact: Early Childhood • Participation Info Code • Added “EC0006” as “Home-based Early Childhood Education Program” • School Enrollment • Residence Status • Description changes only: • 1 = Contracted in from another Nebraska public school district • 5 = Contracted out to another Nebraska public school district • 6 = Optioning in from another Nebraska public school district

  15. NSSRS Data Manager • Version 7.x arrives in July 2011 • No user interface changes planned • Data re-disclosure splash screen • As last year, “District Approve” user must indicate understanding prior to uploading 2011-2012 NSSRS files
