  1. STANDING up with JESUS John 8.1-7

  2. Everyone took their turn to throw stones at the woman. (v.3-7) The actual act had to be observed by multiple witnesses who agreed exactly in their testimony. (v.10) “…where are those accusers of yours?”

  3. Satan loves to use the tool of accusing, for he is the accuser of the brethren. There was no one left to condemn the woman, and Jesus Himself did not condemn her. Romans 8.1 “…there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

  4. We are never more like Jesus than when we advocate. Matthew 26.47-53 Jesus doesn’t need defended, He always stands up and defends the guilty.

  5. We are to love people relentlessly, and the Holy Spirit will do the convicting. John 4 Jesus knows the Samaritan woman, and still yet does not condemn her.

  6. Her encounter with Jesus is the 7th man she has known. The number of completion for her life. Jesus does not stand up for sin, He stands up for sinners.
