  2. Who are we? RPA, Inc. is a Third Party Administrator specializing in Direct Reimbursement Dental Plans. We are a member of the Consumer Driven Benefits Association (CDBA) and are actively marketing Direct Reimbursement Plans. Current number of clients with dental benefits : 16 Total number of insureds: 5,027 Current number of clients with vision, orthodontia and/or MERP benefits: 10 Number of clients lost: 0

  3. What is Direct Reimbursement? Direct Reimbursement (DR) is a tool for employers who want to self insure their dental and/or vision benefits and who want to allow their employees the freedom of choice. DR is an alternative to traditional dental insurance plans. With DR, employer’s design their own plan. They are not restricted to “Plan A”, “Plan B”, or “Plan C”. With a DR plan in place, the Employer designs the plan, and the Employees pick their dentist. Employees obtain and pay for their dental care. Once they pay for their services, they submit a request for reimbursement to RPA, Inc.

  4. Our Philosophy We treat each claim as if it were our own. When a claim is received, we process it. Our turn around time for a clean claim is less than a day! If information necessary to process the claim is missing, we will make every attempt to obtain the missing information. We will contact the claimant using the information they provide on their claim form or we will contact their dental provider. Each claimant is an individual worthy of our utmost and honest attention. Phone calls (when we get them) are answered in real-time, by a person. If a message is left after hours, it is returned the following business day, first thing! E-mails are responded to within the same business day 99.9% of the time. If an e-mail is sent after hours, it is responded to the following business day! Our mission is to process each claim promptly and accurately. Our goal is to process the claim before the next claim run so that claimants to not have to wait to receive their reimbursement. Processed claims are reviewed on a daily basis and again during the reporting process. This is one of the reasons we don’t get phone calls! Is it time-consuming? Yes! Is it worth it? Absolutely!

  5. Administration Fees • $3.00 - $5.00 per employee per month • $.50 - $1.00 for add-on benefits such as orthodontia, vision, and medical expense reimbursement • $250 - $350 Set-up Fee • $250 - $350 Plan Document Fee • $0 Monthly Maintenance Fee • $0 Annual Renewal Fee
