  3. GOALS • Identify a skill that students need to be proficient in for success in your class or content area.

  4. GOALS • Use data to determine areas where improvement is needed. • CRTs, DWA, Skills tests, informal assessments, observations, etc.

  5. GOALS • Determine what proficient means. • Determine a way to measure/assess. • Determine a time frame.

  6. GOALS • Write a goal that is specific, can be measured, and has time limits. • Write a data driven goal each quarter.

  7. GOALS • 90% of my pre-algebra students will be able to pass at 80% accuracy a test on computations with fractions by the end of the semester. • 75% of my students in 3rd hour will improve by 10% their time in the mile run by the end of the quarter. • All of my students will be able to explain the steps of the scientific method by December 12th.
