Contract Closeout • Assigning any new property requires signature from gaining and losing custodians. • Mandatory training for all employees who have property in their name that outlines their responsibilities. • Future state will include informational posters with how to’s and what to do if’s. Contract Closeout Contract Closeout Team • Procurement-Responsible for closing all PO’s including those with subcontractors • PP&C-Responsible to ensure that all material under the contract has been properly dispostioned. • Shipping-Requesting Government Bill of Lading and ensuring all product has been shipped. • Finance-Closing all charge numbers accountable to the contract. Contract Closeout Team Cont. • Engineering-Processing equipment for disposal or requesting it be transferred to a follow-on contract. • Program Management-Ensure all contract related activity has been completed and translate any additional need of equipment. • Contracts-Provide closeout notification and coordination of requests to the customer. • Comsec/Security-proper disposition of all classified property as required by security regulations. • Depot-Coordination and disposition of any property and is managed by the logistics management system.
