  5. Emotional Appeal Getting people to feel happy, sad, or angry can help your argument. Emotions make people want to act.

  6. Ethical Appeal If people believe and trust in something, you are more likely to persuade them. The appeals to a person’s sense of right and wrong.

  7. Emergency Appeal Use this to convince your audience that this issue is so important they must act now. There is a sense of urgency as time is of the essense.
