Differences • Grasping and developing differs from a child to another. • Grasping and developing differs from a boy to a girl. - A girl is known to grow in a systematic way. - Whereas a boy can stay static for some while and then he may show some sudden improvement. This happens repeatedly through the boy’s life. Do not compare

What’s New This Year?! • Clever Club Award system • Weekly Montessori Session • Science Activity session • Weekly English Library session • Weekly Arabic Library session • Weekly Ballet session • Two outdoor breaks and morning lines • Two indoor breaks (Breakfast & Lunch) • A New Separate KG 1 garden.

  6. Important Notes 1-The school website is the main means of communication. Parents are kindly requested to check the school’s website on daily basis even during summer vacation. www.alkarmals.org

  7. Important Notes 2- Students are expected to bring healthy food as junk food is totally not allowed. Junk food is all types of packed items except for milk and juice. Juice is not to be canned. A suggested “Food Schedule” will be uploaded on the school website.

  8. Important Notes 3- All belongings should be labeled with the student’s name and class. Jackets, Lunch boxes and water bottles need to be labeled, too. 4- Breaking others’ belongings (school or colleagues) the student has to pay for it from his/her own pocket money.

  9. Important Notes 5- Electronics and valuable materials (mobiles, mp3 and jewelry except for small earrings) are not allowed. Only watches are allowed mainly to understand the value of time. In case any of the previous mentioned unpermitted items are found with a student, it will be promptly confiscated till end of term. Allowed colours for hair accessories are black and white only.

  10. Important Notes 6- Contagious diseases as missiles, chicken pox, lice……etc, students are expected to stay at home until fully recovered. Advice will be taken from the school doctor.

  11. Important Notes 7- Bullying, whether verbal, physical or psychological, is totally unaccepted. Accordingly, strict consequences will directly take place.

  12. Important Notes 8- Teachers do not accept presents. A flower or a card would be more than enough. 9- Weekly Behaviour & Academic short reports, will be done by teachers on daily basis and will be sent by the end of the week for each student.

  13. Important Notes 10- For any inquiries… Mrs. Vivian Kadry is the Deputy Assistant in KG Department. She is responsible for receiving your ongoing inquiries and suggestions from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. You can call during on the KG office number: 012-879-13484 Or you can send an email on: kgdeputy@alkarmals.org

  14. Important Notes Moreover… Mrs. Vivian Kadry, the Deputy Assistant in KG Department, is willing to receive your ongoing inquiries and suggestions and meet you at school on Sundays and Mondays as follows: KG 1 on Sunday from 10:00 am till 12:00 KG 2 on Monday from 10:00 am till 12:00

  15. Important Notes 11- Replies to your kind inquiries will be forwarded within 72 working hours. First month is a teacher-student orientation period of time; hence, you are kindly requested not to report for academic problems at least during that starting time.

  16. Important Notes 12- Verbal messages wouldn’t be taken seriously. Parents are kindly requested to send either a written note with the Bus Matron or an email addressed to the concerned person.

  17. 1st day of school • Students will be divided into two groups: Group "A" and group "B"

  18. 1st day of school • Group "A"will include all students whose names start with letters "A" till "L", they will come on: Monday: the 26th of September from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

  19. 1st day of school • Whereas, Group "B" will include all students whose names start with letters "M" till "Z". They will come on: • Tuesday: the 27th of September from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

  20. 1st day of school • All K.G. students (Group A & Group B) will come starting from Wednesday the 28thof September, 2016 in our regular school hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
