LaaR Event Summary Sequence of Events and System Summary: • ERCOT System loses about 1022 MW of Generation Resources at about 01:49 • Triggers a potential NERC Reportable DCS Event • ERCOT Operator makes a hot line call to all QSEs and issues a VDI to deploy all LaaRs that are supplying RRS • Ten QSEs have LaaR RRS obligations which total 1150 MW • Official start time for the deployment is 01:56:22 which coincides with the end of the Operator’s Instruction • System LaaR Response at 10 minute mark is 1051 MW • LaaRs reach 95% of system requirement at 16 minutes 20 seconds
