  2. Hello we are 17 Under And this is our “Dark Side” presentation Hope you like it! XD

  3. What is the Dark Side Project? We are apart of D.a.T.A (Design and Technology Academy) This is just one of the major projects in D.a.T.A The main idea of this project to be educate the public about the “Dark Side” of technology

  4. What is our Dark Side Issue? Some problems about technology had been about. . . . . . The proper use of cell phone's The causes of global warming Nuclear activity killing the Earth But have you heard of a machine so power that it had the power to end life as we know it . . It is called the Hadrons Collider.

  5. The issue we choose The Hadrons Collider First what is the Hadron Collider? It’s the most complex scientific instrument ever built It’s a Particle Accelerator. What are particles? The building blocks of life. This machine is suppose to figure out how life was made. How was life made? What theory was it?

  6. Why is this a problem? The L.H.C (large hadrons collider) is possible to create major damage if not used correctly. If used incorrectly it can create a black hole . . . . . Earthquakes Volcanic eruption and Boil the sea

  7. Counter Argument Some may say that it is a great way to fully understand the “Big Bang Theory”. And figure out how matter was made. But would you risk major world affects on the Earth just to gain one piece of knowledge

  8. The Big Bang Theory/ Hadron Collider The Big Bang Theory was when the universe was made. A lot of energy was stored in a small amount of space then one day exploded making the universe The Hadron Collider is trying to see how that happened Now this thing is BIG. And we mean BIG! It’s located between France and Swiss border It’s 100m under ground and it’s 17 miles long. It took 20 years to make, between 6-10 million dollars to make and was funded by the Europe government

Campaign Process • First our group decided on who would create the digital • Then we drafted several logos • Used the program Photoshop to construct a digital copy • Then took a plain white T-shirt image • Then extracted several other images to form one full picture • We applied the complete picture to the T-shirt image • Then added text to the digital copy The last step was just to do applied all touch ups Same steps were applied to our other campaign product

  11. Survey Analysis When we were analyzing our data we noticed several treads among the results • Most of the younger population didn’t know what the Hadrons Collider • Most of which didn’t have any knowledge on the subject • The younger population was unaware of the may effects it could have
