  1. How to improve your grades 5 study tips

  2. How to improve your grades • In this presentation, we will share some valuable tips and techniques that will help you learn how to learn and keep you organized and get better grades.

  3. Tip 1 - Organize your study area • Before you even sit down to study, you have to make sure you get everything you need in one place, so you don’t have an excuse to stand up and walk around. This will help you to stay focused. Do not forget the snacks and water too.

  4. Tip 2 – Keep a schedule • Get a large calendar, place it somewhere near your study place and write down due dates of all your tests, assignments, quizzes, and exams on it. • Some people also use phone notifications, but I think having an actual paper calendar will help a lot.

  5. Tip - 3 Make a study goal • A study goal will help you to keep organized and keep track of time. When you sit down to study, write down what you really want to accomplish during the study session. Be specific, and by doing that, you are setting a goal for yourself. • This tip will really help you in learn how to learn. • Setting a goal is very important as subconsciously, when you reach a study goal; you can take a break and reward yourself. • If you don’t have a plan, you will feel overwhelmed by the amount of material you have to go through.

  6. Tip 4 – Read the Textbook • Textbooks always have more information than your lecture notes. Reading the textbook seems obvious, yet so many people rely just on their lecture notes and skip the textbook entirely. • The most effective way to read a textbook is to read it like a novel; first, try to understand the material, do not take any notes. Next, reread the chapter, but this time read slower and take notes.

  7. Tip - 5 Use the Pomodoro technique • Study for 25 minutes and take five minutes break; every 3rd break takes up to 20 minutes. You can set a stopwatch on your phone to keep track of time. • We hope that this presentation has actually helped you in learn how to learn.
