  2. Big Data :- Big Data is a massive compilation of data that continues to expand rapidly over time. It is a data set that is so massive and dynamic that no conventional data processing systems can effectively contain or process it. Big data is similar to regular data, but it is far larger.

  3. Characteristics of Big Data Variety – Variety extends to a wide range of data points and types, both organised and unstructured. Most systems used to accept spreadsheets and databases as their only sources of evidence. Emails, images, photographs, tracking systems, PDFs, audio, and other types of data are also being considered applications. This unstructured data creates challenges for data collection, mining, and analysis. Volume – Big Data is a term that refers to a massive amount of information. Where it comes to deciding the importance of data, the size of the data is extremely important. Furthermore, whether or not a piece of data should be classified as Big Data is determined by its number.   4. Characteristics of Big Data Velocity – The term'velocity' refers to the rate at which data is produced. The true potential of data is determined by how quickly data is produced and analysed to satisfy demands. The pace at which data flows in from channels such as business processes, programme logs, networks, and social networking platforms, cameras, mobile devices, and so on is referred to as Big Data Velocity. The data flow is huge and never-ending. Variability – This applies to the confusion that data will display at times, obstructing the task of successfully handling and managing the data.
