  2. Basics • Compares filtered branch sets from two PowerWorld cases • Identifies unmatched branches • Matched branches with different ratings or impedances • Can re-run at any step • No need to redo import steps unless the cases are modified

  3. Steps 1-5 • Step 1 • Load “Export PW linedata.aux” in reference case • Select created .csv file in Access • Step 2 • Load “Export PW linedata.aux” in comparison case (i.e. case to compare against the reference case) • Select created .csv file in Access • Step 4 • View two access tables to see unmatched branches • Step 5 • Use Excel to identify rating or impedance differences • Step 6 • Use exported and PowerWorld formatted excel spreadsheet to import into PowerWorld case
