  7. UESL Efficiencies • Change in Director’s position in FY19 from 1 FTE to .75 FTE, saving $15,000 in salary expenses. This will be continued in FY20 • Switching the faculty contracts: 4 Full-time faculty AY contracts to Quarterly faculty contracts. This allows maximum flexibility to respond to enrollment levels as necessary. • UESL program traditionally offered 5 levels. Since AY17-18 UESL program has offered 3-4 levels according to the enrollment of the quarter. This reduces the number of workload units significantly, as can be seen below: • Winter, 2017 – 90 wlu • Winter, 2018 – 80 wlu • Winter, 2019 – 55 wlu • Goods and services costs have been reduced

  10. ROI on International Recruitment • Continuity of AUAP program – 30 years ~4000 students • Increase in UESL students who becomes matriculated students • 100 students last 4 years • International matriculated UG and GR students

  11. ROI on International Recruitment • Vietnam • We have grown our numbers of students from Vietnam significantly, up to 81 Fall 2018 compared to 59 Fall 2017. We have visited Vietnam twice a year for the past 2.5 years to visit high schools, EducationUSA, and agents and we have participated in college fairs and have hosted new student admissions event. Based on IIE Open Doors, Vietnam is number 7 for place of origin for international students studying in the US, with 8.4% growth from previous academic year.

  12. ROI on International Recruitment • Brazil • Based on IIE Open Doors we will also begin recruitment in Brazil, with potential EducationUSA Roadshow participation in April 2019. Brazil is ranked 10th country of origin for international students studying in the US and has seen 11.7% growth from the previous academic year. CWU currently has two students from Brazil.
