PTC Powering Test Coordinator • Acts globally • Masters the test procedures of all the circuit types and ensures they are compliant with the needs and specification by all the equipment groups as well as MPP • Keeps track of the status of the individual test procedures implemented by the sequencer for each circuit type • Keeps track of the status of the software tools (sequencer, post mortem, logging, supervision applications, logbook, etc.) to carry out the commissioning • During powering tests • Are in charge on a weekly basis • Participates to the coordination meetings • Follows up open issues concerning procedures, implementation of the procedures by the sequencer , software tools • With the Point Owners, prepares the SOC and the test plan of the day • Decides on schedule changes to comply with conflicts and situations (blocked circuits, resource, etc) arising in the field RSaban

Even Point Owner Even Point Owner • Acts locally on the two sectors adjacent to his/her even point • Is aware of all the systems (e.g. injection, warm magnets, dump, rf, etc) around his/her point and knows and coordinates the ISTs and commissioning • Before a new step starts, ensures that all the Individual System Tests and the Hardware Commissioning have been carried-out, the data has been stored and interpreted by the responsible person • Ensures that the equipment/components of the circuits are in a state compatible with the execution of the tests and organizes diagnostics /repairs • Prepares and follows-up the IST, the tests during cool down and the cool down • Keeps track of the planning, of the progress and of the non-conformities encountered • During powering tests • Must be available to intervene during two shifts (stand-by duty) • Minutes issues concerning his/her point during the 8.30 and the 16.30 meetings chaired by HCC • Follows up open issues concerning his/her point • Chases people needed during the coordination meetings • With the PTC prepares the SOC and the test plan of the day • Decides on schedule changes to comply with conflicts and situations (blocked circuits, resource, etc) arising in the field RSaban

  5. EIC Engineer in Charge • Acts locally on two fronts with an operator • Ensures the smooth running of the powering tests of the SOC of the day following the powering test procedures • During powering tests • Is present in the CCC during two shifts • Is responsible that safety-wise incompatible co-activities are not authorized • Coordinates work with the teams (QPS, EE, PC, PIC, Cryo Operation, etc) participating to the commissioning of his front • Creates the SOC of the day • Ensures that the morning run starts at 7:00 and takes over the evening run at 14:00 • Updates the war map for his/her point • Is responsible for the detailed reporting in the logbook of all what happens during the shift • Ensures that test data and results are recorded as expected in the logging system and the post-mortem system • Is responsible for the detailed reporting of test results in the MTF • Reports to the coordination meetings chaired by HCC the outcome of the powering tests • Requests support from the piquet services (CV, EL, PO, VAC, CO, ACR, etc.) in case of need • Consults with the Point Owner (or the Powering Tests Coordinator) on conflicts and situations (blocked circuits, resource, etc) arising in the field RSaban
