Project Overview • WISE(Women in IT Sharing Experiences)is a peer mentoring group started by STARS@FSU. • WISE works to provide women in the IT program at FSU with opportunities for professional growth, networking, and leadership through partnerships with professional women in the local technology community. • Overall female enrollment in the IT major at FSU for the past three years averages 20% • The number of females that graduate from the IT program has been limited to 7-10%

  4. Project Goals • Increase mentorship opportunities and events • Promote WISE • Establish a presence on campus • Increase membership in WISE, IT, and ICT and to create a place where women can share experiences • Recruit women to the IT/ICT Programs • Have two events – one social and one mentor
