Market situation • SANDISK • Long lead time : 2-3 weeks (Kingston 3-5 days) • Price competition • Kingston is 5-10% lower than Sandisk in Q1 • Price war from other distributor • Low run rate in Retail and UPC due to low brand familiarity and high price • High inventory and required big support by MDT especially BIG C and LOTUS • Manage stock : sell out support • Marketing activities : mail, catalogue, newspaper • KINGSTON • Price war from Ingram : 3-5% lower than Synnex • CANON • Price war from Weltec : 2-3% lower than Synnex • Required high GP at 7.1% compared to Weltec which required only 3-5%

Market situation • Logitech • Shortage by vendor : M100, K120, GAMING, R400, R800, C920 • Good selling SKUs are EOL : Clear chat premium, QC sphere, M215 • High inventory from key dealers in both BKK and UPC • BKK : Accessories supply • UPC : Wattana system, Chichang, IT Communication, Super cheap • Price war from China brand and other distributors • China brand : VOX, Anitech, MD tech • TDK - HT • Slow run rate due to unclear brand positioning and less brand awareness • Price-wise competitors : Phillips, Sony, Buffalo • High-end brand : Jays, Sennheiser, Beats, Monster • Too much SKUs leads to cannibalization within brands • No big difference between model in term of price and design • Clef-P is selling well at the expense of Clef-R and Clef-String • Required consignment by key customers such as Loft, True

Market situation • IMATION AND TDK OL • Increasing price of optical product due to raw material cost increased: : lead to higher price than competitors 15-20% • Imation 230 Baht (CDR 50), TDK 240 Baht • Sony 200 Baht, Princo 180 Baht • High inventory of CDR-titanium (run rate 5,000 1,000 units/month • Makro reject new price of CDR-Titanium : Support them to clear stock 10,000 Baht for 800 packs • TKS/PRIND • Product shortage from TKS as the Muller machine has broken down • IDEA - SY • In overall market, premium paper lose market share due to price increased around 10% • Due to price increased of Idea Max 70g (70 baht to 80 Baht) , so customers switch brand to other 70g such as Quality , SMARTIST (AA) , price 72 baht • For government project, the market was hit by green lable from AA (Brand Eagle 80 baht) :10 baht lower than IDEA green (90 Baht)

  10. Performance by brand – April 2010 VS 2011 Sales performance by Brand : Growth Sales contribution by CS Code : Q1 2010 VS 2011 In Q1-12, There was a positive growth at 9.6% growth. KINGS remained a brand leadership, with 40% contribution and 24.7% growth. CANON also showed a strong performance with 38.7% growth.

  12. Overall performance - Channel In Q1-12, MPG1 contributed 69:31 in BKK and UPC with 4.5% and 23.1% growth. In BKK, Retail is a major channel contributed 31% share but with -4.2% growth. Whilst UPC , only Central area showed a negative growth
