  3. A crimping tool is a tool designed to crimp or connect a connector to the end of a cable. For example, network cables and phone cables are created using a crimping tool to connect the RJ-45 and RJ-11 connectors to the end of the cable. In last slide is an example of what a crimping tool looks like, this example shows a tool capable of doing both RJ-11 and RJ-45 connectors. A hand crimping tool having a first handle and a second handle connected to the first handle by a main pivot pin and a pair of jaws connected to the handles for movement together upon pivoting of the handles about the main pivot pin. A signal mechanism is provided to produce a sensory perception to the user of the completion of a predetermined crimping movement of the jaws. INT-100
