2. Objective • Outbrief the (ISC)2 Orlando Chapter about my volunteer effort to present the (ISC)2 Safe and Secure Online Training at Legacy Middle School.

3. Registration • Visit the S&SO website at www.isc2.org • Select S&SO from the “Special Programs” tab • Select “How to Volunteer” then click “Sign-up” • Instructions will be e-mailed to you • Complete the instructions • 1 Hour Presentation & Quiz • Sign Waiver • Complete simple Background check ($19) • Send S&SO required completed documents • Copy of Certificate that you receive after passing Training Quiz • Copy of Background Check report (5 minute turnaround) • Copy of signed-waiver from S&SO web site • Access Presentation Material • S&SO will e-mail link to Presentation Material and Access Code • Takes a long time to download (30 minutes avg) You must be an (ISC)2 Member to Volunteer

4. Preparation • Contact S&SO and Request Presentation Pkg • T-Shirt for Volunteer • Give-aways for Kids • Evaluation Forms • Certificates for Kids • Schedule Event with Sponsoring Organization • Note: Schools will include a separate Background check • Conduct Onsite A/V Test and Internet Activity (if needed) • Review Material and Practice Presenting Practice…Practice….Practice

5. Presentation • Set-up Equipment and Test A/V • Ask for 3 Student Volunteers to complete evaluation form • Conduct Presentation • Wrap-up • Have Teacher and Student begin completing evaluation forms • Hand-out Give-aways • Collect evaluation forms and Pack-up materials • Submit copies of completed evaluation forms to S&SO in order to claim CPEs Send completed evaluation forms quickly before you forget

6. CPEs Claim CPEs = 1 CPE for Quiz and 10 CPEs after first two S&SO presentations and 1 CPE for each post S&SO presentation
