  1. Reading & Literature in the Science Classroom Looking for ways to improve your students’ reading abilities while learning science? If yes, plan to join us for Funded by SCIMAX and presented by WS/FCS classroom teachers, this workshop for middle school SCIENCE teachers will cover strategies for teaching reading, examples of activities based on effective strategies, and a wealth of resources. Each participating teacher will then be asked to practice what they learned by developing creative activities and labs for picture books and novels based on science. Selected activities will be tested by workshop participants. Where: Salem Hall Wake Forest Univ.
