  3. How I Will Support the Network • Renewed Emphasis on Investment Review for EPA Program Information Systems • Closer Coordination with CFO on Financial Management and Accountability Systems • Strategic Look Forward within OEI and in Support of EPA’s Programs

  4. FY 2011 Grants Program • $10 million requested in the FY 2011 President’s Budget for state, tribal, and territorial awards • FY 2011 Solicitation Notice published on August 12, 2010 • Application Deadline is November 5, 2010 • Review Panels in January 2011 • Notifications of Funding Recommendations in March 2011 • Final Awards in July 2011 • Significant Balances Remain on Open Grants from Prior Years • $19.5 million remains unspent on FY 2003 to 2008 grants • 47.8% of expected state data flows remain to be implemented

  5. “Drive to Finish” • ECOS Resolution: Renewed State Commitment to the EN • Administrator Jackson: “Achieving the Promise of the National Environmental Information Exchange Network” • ENLC Action Plan for 10 Priority Data Flows for Phase I • Continue Governance Oversight • Increase State/EPA Collaboration on Shared Tools and Knowledge to Find Efficiencies • Ensure Reuse of the Right Exchange and Technology Services
