  19. Metallica wystąpiła w Polsce w sumie osiem razy, w latach: 1987 - 2 koncerty, 1991, 1996, 1999, 2004, 2008 i 2010. Dwa koncerty odbywały się w ramach festiwali (1991 rok - Monsters Of Rock i 2010 rok - Sonisphere Festiwal), sześć koncertów promowało nowy album (2 koncerty z 1987 roku - Master Of Puppets, 1996 rok - Load, 1999 rok - Garage Inc., 2004 rok - St. Anger i rok 2010 - Death Magnetic), jeden koncert (w 2008 roku) odbył się w ramach wakacyjnej trasy. 

  20. Po dwóch latach Metallica powraca do naszego kraju - koncert odbędzie się 10 maja w Warszawie, na lotnisku Bemowo, w ramach festiwalu Sonisphere. Będzie to 9-ty występ zespołu w Polsce.
