Dates and Deadlines • Obtain your TCard: June 2, 2014 • Logon toROSI • Registration • Deferral or payment of fees to meet registration deadline: Friday, August 29, 2014 • Registration deadline: Friday, September 12, 2014 • Enrolment • Course enrolment opens for DLSPH courses: Mid-August • Course enrolment deadline for Fall courses: September 19, 2014 • CHL5004H: Intro to Public Health Sciences begins: September 2, 2014 • Fall courses begin: September 8, 2014

  3. TCard and UTmail+ • Serves as your student photo ID and library card • Issued at Robarts Research Library, 130 St. George St., Room 2054A • Bring your Offer of Admissionand valid photo ID (eg. Driver’s licence) • Get your TCard during the summer to avoid line-ups in September • For information and hours of service:http://www.utoronto.ca/tcard/or 416-946-8047 • Activate your UTORid and create your University-issued email (UTmail+) account at www.utorid.utoronto.ca • Record your UTmail+ address on ROSI

ROSI and the SWS • ROSI = Repository of Student Information • stores your personal and academic information • SWS = Student Web Service • Logon to ROSI via the SWS - http://www.rosi.utoronto.ca/ • Student Number: on your Offer of Admission • PIN: Birthdate – YYMMDD format at your first visit • spend some time familiarizing yourself with ROSI

ROSI and the SWS • View/update address, telephone number, e-mail address • View financial account information and print invoices • Defer your fees • Enter bank information for direct deposit of award funds and refunds • Request/Drop courses and view status of courses • View academic history • Order transcripts • And more…

  6. Registration • Logon to ROSI to review and print your invoice – ‘Financial Account‘ • fees are assessed and billed to student accounts in late July • Defer your fees using the OSAP/Govt/Grad Deferral button

Registration • Fee payments are made at your financial institution - by internet or telephone banking, or in person at your bank • Depending on the award and where it is administered, funds may be directly deposited into your student account – January and May installments • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure all fees (tuition, incidentals, other charges) are paid before the end of the Winter session - April 30 • Allow enough time for your payment to be received by U of T • Review your payments in ROSI • Service charges begin to accrue on outstanding balances: • If fees have NOT been deferred: November 2014 • If fees have been deferred: May 2015 http://www.fees.utoronto.ca/site4.aspx

Enrolment • Determine your program requirements • CHL5004H: Introduction to Public Health Sciences • program specific courses • information on website and during orientation in September • talk to your Division Head/Supervisor • Review Timetable on the website: http://www.dlsph.utoronto.ca/page/timetables • Logon to ROSI to Request your courses • all course enrolments made through the SWS are added as Requeststo be Approved by the Graduate Office by the enrolment deadline of September 22, 2014
