  5. DISTRICT GOALS • Ensure that every student achieves measurable progress and personal growth each year • Provide the best facilities and learning environment • Involve the community in our schools to maintain the public trust • Be viewed by the community as a unified district

BOARD GOALS • Maintain programs in a sustainable way, while striving to keep as many people employed as possible because of our commitment to doing what is best for kids • Celebrate the successes of the District and community • Routinely monitor the effectiveness of District programs and services in order to better serve kids

SUPERINTENDENT GOALS Immediate Goal Adopt a budget for 2011-12 that preserves core District functions and allows for a strong and sustainable educational system that strikes a balance between measurable student progress in core subjects, while preserving as comprehensive a program as possible Aligns with District Goal #1 and Board Goal #1,

  9. INTERMEDIATE GOAL #1 Long Range Facilities Plan Adopt a 10-year Long Range Master Facilities Plan through a process committee, which will involve community members and district personnel; the plan will meet the minimum requirements of ORS 195.110 Aligns with District Goal #2 & #3

  10. INTERMEDIATE GOAL #2 Community Schools Each school in the District will implement, during the 2011-12 school year, one element of the concept of Community Schools in an effort to engage the greater community Aligns with Board Goal #3

  11. LONG RANGE GOAL Outstanding Schools Five outstanding schools in a progressive and innovative district Aligns with Board Goal #3

  13. GOAL FOR DIRECTORS • Prepare a three-year plan that will guide equipment and contracted service purchases

  14. GOAL FOR PRINCIPALS • Evaluate the current RTI systems in place, and establish a goal to further implement, improve or modify their building’s system
