Strategic Planning Methodology and Indicators for Agriculture and Sustainable Tourism in Western Greece

This initiative focuses on strategic planning in the Region of Western Greece, particularly in the Municipality of Amalia, which features diverse areas including rural, urban, and coastal zones. The project has identified relevant indicators in two key sectors: agriculture and sustainable tourism development. Data collection is being conducted to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, a successful networking event on May 11, 2006, fostered collaboration among local stakeholders, including universities and industry representatives, aimed at enhancing local development and innovation.
