  2. Philosophy on Adult Education and Training My role as an Adult Educator is to ensure that each participant is engaged in the learning process at all times. Learning is only achieved when students take in new information and interpret it through their existing knowledge. New knowledge will only change old ways of thinking through reflective practice. Learning must relate to real life experiences.

  7. Current Adult Training Qualifications As an EQIT trainer I provide 48 hours of training to childcare providers on the best practices working with children birth to three. I provide coaching to provider’s onsite. As a Cradling Literacy Instructor I provide parents and childcare providers with up to 24 hours of training in early literacy and language development focusing on children birth to three. As a Touchpoints trainer I provide training for early childhood professionals and services providers on the Touchpoints approach to working with children and families. As a Nurturing Parent Program Facilitator I work with families of young children birth through preschool to help them develop a nurturing lifestyle.

  8. Education A.A. in Early Childhood Education from Laramie County Community College – Cheyenne WY. 1995 B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in ECE from Adams State University – Alamosa CO. 2012 M.Ed. in AET from Colorado State University – Ft. Collins CO. (summer2014)
