  2. Structure • MasterPeace Solutions technical structure includes • A Technical Council providing advice to the CTO • Thought Leadership Groups (TLGs) whose leaders comprise the Technical Council. TLGs consist of COE leaders plus others with an interest in the group. • One or more Centers of Excellence focused on a defined capability within each TLG, having a leader and several members supporting several roles: • Vendor Champion • Applied Research • White Papers • Proposals

Concept • Participation in COEs is voluntary but rewarding in several ways: • Maintain technical currency in field of interest • Training opportunities • Being “where the action is” to better influence individual career path • Potential share in revenue from vendor sales & support • Potential royalties from solutions adopted by customers • COEs will remain relatively small (less than 10 participants)

Concept (cont) • COEs meet periodically (perhaps bi-weekly) to: • Maintain currency of focus • Assess best of breed vendors • Identify current and near term opportunities • Generate “Ideas” – suggestions for • Investment in technical capability / demo capability / Lab capability • New vendors to include • New solution approaches • New / modified technical strategies

  5. Concept (cont) • TLGs meet monthly (or maybe more often) to: • Prioritize “ideas” from their COEs – • Assess progress of COEs • Decide whether current COE mix should be adjusted • TLG leadership is a 1-year rotational assignment approved by the CTO

  6. Concept (cont) • Tech Council prioritizes “ideas” across all TLGs, • CTO proposes tech approach going forward • Gang of Four (CTO, BD, Recruiter, CEO) makes strategy & related investment decisions
