  2. Two Point Threshold • Use calipers. • Vary the distance of the prongs randomly. • The two point threshold is the point at which the individual feels two pressure points. • Test the palm, back of the hand, arm on both sides, forehead, other

  4. Create a Tongue Map • Using the samples provided (lemon juice, sugar water, salt water, tonic water, reduced salt soy sauce) and a q tip, create a map of taste sensations on your tongue. • Try varying the order and location to avoid bias.
