  2. Prime Numbers are… • Prime numbers are numbers that can only be divided by one and themselves.

  3. And… • Even numbers are not prime except for two.

  4. But • Prime numbers are not in the times tables.

  5. Example… • 7 is a prime number because it can only be divided by itself and 1 it can not be divided by 2 because you will be left with halves and remainders.

  6. Square Numbers • Square numbers are numbers that are multiplied by themselves.

  7. Example… • 5x5,4x4,3x3,2x2 and 1x1 they all make square numbers.

  8. Square numbers are a group of numbers in an equal group. • Here is an example of a group of square numbers.
