Club 18-30 holidays ·Alton Towers ·McDonalds ·Sky television ·Pepsi and Coke For each:- Explain how these businesses let you know that this is their USP. What else could it do to make it different to its competitors?

Brands – • What is a brand name? • Brands and people • Which Brands are associated with these people. • Charva Charly or Charva Charlotte • Sport Billy or Sport Brenda • Gary Goth or Gabby Goth • Trendy Terry or Trendy Tamara • Posh Peter or Posh Paula • Draw 2 of these people and show the types of brands you associate with these types of people. (think back to our work on segmentation)

  4. Branding and Promotion How would you promote these brands to the people you have drawn? Think about which magazines they might read. Think about which TV channels they might watch Think about where they might shop Think about how much money they are likely to have.
