North American Regional Reanalysis Data and Circulation Models Overview

This dataset provides insights into the North American Regional Reanalysis with 3-hour time steps, covering a longitude range from -220.0°E to -0.4375°E and latitude from 0.0°N to 89.8125°N. It focuses on the MAB shelf circulation through models and data illustrating mean, seasonal, and variability patterns on the inner shelf pertaining to Chesapeake Bay and shelf exchange circulation. This work prepares for synchronous downscaling of basin and regional “IOOS-class” models for coastal domains, as conducted by researchers at Rutgers.
