  2. EMS/Trauma Registry Information System Project • Process • Stakeholders input continues to be highly valued. We thank you for your participation in the DSHS Stakeholder Webinars and your continued support. We look forward to your responses and input to our system demonstrations to be scheduled during the June Stakeholder Webinars. • The Registry Solutions Workgroup (RSWG) has provided excellent input to-date and is currently providing valuable feedback on EMS/Trauma Registry rules and conditions and data validation steps for processing data files • Daily sessions are held between Trauma Program staff and Consilience • DSHS Project Management and Executive Steering Committee oversight • Current Accomplishments • Trauma Modeling Phase Completed • Establishes the relationships between the data elements, the workflows, and the business processes of the new system • Model includes NEMSIS 3.1 version data elements • Data Mapping from Current Trauma Registry to New Database Elements • Migration Interface Component developed • Next Steps • ‘GO LIVE’ slated for September 2012 • Trauma Project Activities over the next year

EMS/Trauma Registry Information System Project 1st Qtr. 2013 4th Qtr. 2012 2nd Qtr. 2012 3rd Qtr. 2012 Jul-Sep Apr-Jun Oct-Dec Jan-Mar • Key activities include: • End-user account creation • ~1100 Hospital accounts • ~3150 EMS accounts • User acceptance testing • End-user training • System Pilot testing • TxDOT batch data import interface for crash data • State-wide System Rollout ~22 Million Records to be converted to new data modelIncludes NEMSIS and NTDB standards Analysis of User Feedback (DSHS and Stakeholders) on New System Database Conversion • End-users will be able to build ad-hoc reports at rollout • Customized reporting to be developed based on stakeholder priorities User Acceptance Testing Hospital / EMS Import Interface Legacy Hospital and EMS data import interfaces developed to batch upload data on a regular cadence TxDOT Import Interface Data validation rules and conditions developed to ensure data quality Validation Rules & Conditions • Registration enrollment portal for new facility registration Enhanced Version 2 Facilities Pilot Test System Rollout EMS/Trauma System Demonstrations Enrollment Portal
